Each Mitti capability is listed with a build rating, then set beside what TerraLink’s system will do with it. Updated 8 October 2026 with the decisions made since the first teardown.
Mitti groups its product into Understand (capture), Act (execute), and Improve (learn). It runs on the web and on iPhone and Android, with a public API. The badge is the build rating. The green line is what TerraLink is doing with it.
These are built on the same spine (permissions, audit, links, notifications). A few stay off until TerraLink confirms the operation.
| Feature | What it does | |
|---|---|---|
| Dangerous-goods load check | Pick the products on a truck. The rules decide class, the 500 kg exemption, placards, and segregation, and draft the shipping paper. An expired TDG certificate blocks the load. This is in the logistics pilot. | Beyond |
| Chemical storage map | Bays and zones per warehouse, tied to safety data sheets. Flags products that should not sit together, and quantities against the fire code. | Beyond |
| Spill and emergency mode | One tap, then the product. Step-by-step response from the safety sheet, the right phone numbers, a reporting-threshold check, and an issue opened with location and time. | Beyond |
| Label scanner | Point the camera at a container. Show the safety sheet, required protective equipment, storage class, and spill steps. | Beyond |
| Recalls and label changes | A supplier recall or a PMRA label change updates the sheet, sends a notice people must acknowledge, and opens a stock check at each branch. | Beyond |
| Weather alerts | Heat, wildfire smoke, cold, lightning, and wind for each branch and for anyone working alone. Can tighten the check-in interval and suggest a toolbox talk. | Beyond |
| Farm-site hazards | Overhead lines, dogs, narrow lanes, no cell coverage, stored against the customer. Drivers see them before a delivery and can add one from the field. | Beyond |
| Muster | Who is on site, then a roll call in an emergency with an alert for anyone unaccounted for. | Beyond |
| Joint safety committee | Members, monthly meeting, agenda from open issues, minutes, and the 21-day employer response clock. Alberta uses the committee and representative thresholds in the OHS Act. | Beyond |
| Claims and return to work | Claim number, costs, and a modified-duty plan with review dates. | Beyond |
| Structured procedures | A safe work procedure is steps with hazards, protective equipment, and evidence, not only a PDF. Running it on the phone reuses the inspection engine. A draft can be generated from a prompt, a document, or a walkthrough video. | Beyond |
| Seasonal onboarding | A short induction for spring staff, in more than one language, with the account expiring at the end of the season. | Beyond |
| Pre-season readiness | A campaign of inspections, maintenance, licences, and training, with a readiness percentage per branch. | Beyond |
| COR readiness | WorkSafeBC Certificate of Recognition scored from evidence already in the system, with gaps turned into actions. Whether TerraLink is pursuing COR is still unconfirmed. | Beyond |
| Spray and application safety | Wind, inversion risk, protective equipment, and a pesticide use record. Only if TerraLink does custom application. Still unconfirmed. | Confirm |
| Container returns | Cleanfarms pesticide and fertilizer container logs. Only if TerraLink takes part. Still unconfirmed. | Confirm |
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Voice inspections | The phone reads the next question. The person answers out loud. Built for gloves and a truck yard. |
| Photo hazard check | A second look at inspection and issue photos for missing labels, blocked exits, or bad storage. Suggestions only. |
| Rushed-inspection check | Flags a checklist finished too fast, copied from the last one, or completed away from the asset. Shown to managers. |
| Regulation copilot | Answers from WorkSafeBC, TDG, WHMIS, the BC pest-management rules, the fire code, and TerraLink’s own procedures, with the source named. |
| Field hazard assessment | Drafts a hazard assessment from the task, the site, the weather, and the products. The worker reviews and signs. |
| Investigation helper | Witness questions, a timeline from the evidence, and a draft report. A person approves it. |
| Refresher lessons | Short lessons from that person’s own missed questions and failed inspection items. |
| Weekly leadership brief | A short narrative of wins and risks. Edited before it is sent. |
